Summer Bridge Program
The Summer Bridge Program is a free, district-operated program designed to support eligible Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) students who need additional readiness skills prior to entering kindergarten. Students qualify based on their PM3 FAST Star Early Literacy assessment results; specifically, students are eligible if they score below the 25th percentile or are unable to complete the practice items for any reason. Families are notified by their VPK provider if their child is eligible. The program provides targeted, evidence-based instruction focused on early literacy and foundational skills to support a successful transition into kindergarten and promote continued academic growth.
