Gold Standard Career Pathways Articulation Agreements

Pursuant to Sections 1007.23 and 1008.44, Florida Statutes (F.S.), Rule 6A-10.0401, Florida Administrative Code, facilitates the statewide articulation of industry certifications through the use of Gold Standard agreements and provides guaranteed college credit for individuals who have earned an industry certification and are enrolled in an Associate in Science (AS) or Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree program at a Florida College System institution. These agreements are intended to be a minimum guarantee of articulated credit and do not preclude institutions from granting additional credit based on local agreements.

The Gold Standard Career Pathways Articulation Agreements provide opportunities for Florida secondary and postsecondary students to accelerate their degree completion and save money through being awarded postsecondary credit for earned industry certifications.

The College Cost Savings document is created in accordance with Section 1003.02(1)(j), F.S., and provides a listing of industry certifications eligible for articulation, the name of the associate degree program to which the certification can articulate, as well as the number of college credits and the cost savings associated with each certification.
