Florida College System to Bestow Best Practice Awards
Tallahassee, Fla., November 1, 2016 – Tomorrow, Florida College System Chancellor Madeline Pumariega will recognize Broward College, Indian River State College, Palm Beach State College and South Florida State College for innovation and excellence through the Chancellor’s Best Practice Awards. The colleges will be honored during the Association of Florida Colleges 67th Annual Convention in Lake Buena Vista.
Also tomorrow, State Board of Education member Andy Tuck and K-12 Public Schools Chancellor Hershel Lyons will join Chancellor Pumariega and T. Nicole Washington Florida Policy Consultant with the Lumina Foundation in a panel discussion on educational attainment in Florida.
