Continued Approval of Teacher Preparation Programs
Florida statutes and State Board of Education rules hold teacher preparation programs accountable for producing individuals with the competencies and skills necessary to achieve the state education goals. Continued approval of a state-approved teacher preparation program is based upon evidence that the program continues to implement the requirements for initial approval and upon significant, objective, and quantifiable measures of the program and the performance of the program completers.
