Frequently Asked Questions about the Florida Online Course Catalog
The Florida Online Course Catalog is a one-stop source of information for students and parents about the K-12 online courses offered by district virtual schools, Department of Education (DOE)-approved providers and Florida Virtual School (FLVS).

The catalog currently includes over 16,000 online courses. For each course listed, the catalog provides information about the course provider and course, a link to the official course description, a short narrative about unique features of the course and a method for students who complete the course to provide evaluative feedback. Completion and passage rates are also provided to show the percent of enrolled students who completed the course and the percent of completers who passed the course.
There are six filters on the home page that provide users with an easy and flexible method to search for courses in the online catalog. Users can search for courses by one or any combination of the following:
- District
- Provider
- Grade Range
- Major Program Area
- Major Subject Area
- Major Sub-Subject Area
The catalog also includes a link to a printable user’s guide.
The detailed course information for each course includes a link to the course provider’s website so that users can obtain more information about the course provider and/or register for the course. You can also contact your school district or FLVS directly.
